Andy Tarkington

I graduated college from U.T.A. in 1983. I have moved around the state of Texas working in municipal parks and recreation in the cities of Sherman, Euless, Mineral Wells, Freeport, Greenville, Rosenberg and now Arlington, after starting my career in Irving in November 1978. A little over a year ago, I was the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Rosenberg and I decided that I was tired of being 275 miles away from family and friends and I was also tired of humidity and mosquitoes, so I moved back to Arlington (my college town) and I now work for the Arlington Parks and Recreation Department. I am still single, but I have been dating someone seriously for four years who lives in Arlington. Dating someone 275 miles away was another big reason to move out of Rosenberg.
